Why not sell annoucement space in some of the forums? For instance in the PPC section why not arrange a deal with (Insert PPC (Searchgalore?)) (One of the few ones I know that has given me any traffic at all) for an Announcement Ad in exchange for a depoiset into an advertiser account for you? That way you could generate more targetted traffic for no cost at all to you.

I tried your idea but suprisingly none of them emailed me back (but I did only email a few of the larger ones).

I will continue to search for quality webmaster ezines to advertise in.

yes, i saw their ads here. and visited their site couple of times before joining them.
