Obviously the more you participate on the forums starting new threads and replying to other member's threads the more you can make. You are not going to retire on it but if you enjoy the forums we give members the chance to make a few extra dollars each month by participating (some in the hundreds).

It also helps if one of the threads you have started gets indexed for a high traffic keyword (so use descriptive titles).

For example:

We are at number 9 in Google for the keyword "swf to gif"

cyberman started that thread way back in 2004. I have no idea if he is using the adshare system on WT but I know page usually gets 20+ visits a day from google searches for that keyword. If the paged moved up to 5 or higher traffic on that page could double or triple. Since he started that thread, 50% of the time his ad code would be showing.

Yes, it updates. As long as there is data in the text boxes, then you're all set up and ready to go.

Google tracks everything from your control panel. Log in to view your balance and other related information.

All we do is show your banner, nothing else.

People this idea really rocks.. Think of using it on my site as well... Can someone please suggest some suitable mods for a PHPBB based form. This surely must be increasing posts in this forum in large no.s

I'm not sure of any mods. I created this one from scratch, there weren't any out there we could download.

But I think it will only work with a certain kind of forum. If your forum has nothing to do with websites, I'm not sure if it will have the same success as we have here, since not everyone will know what AdSense is and not everyone will have a site that could be accepted into the program.

I just joined this forum and posted something about your revenue sharing model on one of my blogs. This is a great idea for encouraging people to come back and post comments, even subscribe to your feeds.
You know how so many people have a "lottery" type mentality about life... And there's something kinda Pavlovian about it all. This is an excellent approach to get people to contribute more. And since the ads are not in-your-face, it's a win-win. Congrats.

Just signed up for this with Digital Point, happy to see this trend catching on in so many places.

Once I get up and organized I think I will add this to my new forum.

But I'm not sure if its availiable for phpbb forums.

Will have to look into this.

Just a quick note to let everyone know I have temporarily turned off the adsense adshare rotation while I collect some stats. The share was set to 0. It should not be for more than a couple days and then it will be turned back on as usual.

If you have not yet taken part of our forums revenue share option you still can.
