We have just released a new design for the Webmaster-Talk.com forums. The design was created by genelmx.

I'd love to hear your input.

We may be making some additional changes and tweaks over the next couple weeks but please let us know if you run into any bugs or something that appears missing.

Please note that the new tools section needs further styling and I hope to get to that soon. Additional new website features will be coming soon.

I noticed that links which some of us have placed in posts over to other resources have been removed. Are they not allowed any more? If not I will have to leave as I don't want to have and type answers if I have answered them before.....

Other than the Avant Garde font in the logo, looks better to me than the old skin. Caught me a bit off guard at first, but I can get used to it.

I got a Javascript error on this page, though. Not sure if it's related.

EDIT: It would also be nice if you could put the "Mark Forums Read" link in the top level menu. I keep forgetting it's part of "Quick Links."

I guess I'm alone in my thoughts on the new look since I'm not liking it at all. Tim I left some comments in the backroom, but overall I'm finding the new look less usable.

Maybe I just need to get used to it.

I replied to your comments Vangogh.

I want everyone to be honest because if there is something that maybe should get some tweaking we would like to know. Please still tell us if you like it though.

Here are a few of the changes that we will be making so far:

> Make the background of the postbits a little darker to better contrast against the post info.

> Possibly make the links in posts blue.

I'll comment on the adshare banners shortly (they are not necessarily permanent).

Thanks for the input and I'm glad the majority of you seem to be liking the new design so far! It's still somewhat of a work in progress.

Thanks Tim. I'll let you know what I think too after a few days of use. Sometimes for me it takes a little getting used to seeing a new interface.

The new changes look very nice, as always! However I did like the other logo in the top left hand corner better.

I just noticed peoples names have been removed under the avatar, I will miss that, but have to admit it is more tailored looking.

I have mixed feelings about it. I think it looks sharp, but it seems a little harder to use. Im like vangogh though, maybe I just need some time to get used to it.

When the page first loaded I thought I had accidentally hit the wrong link. It feels a little off to me, that that's how I am with everything that I'm not used to. I'm sure in a few days it'll be like it was this way all along.

Very nice and clean design. Much better than before. The previous one made me feel crowded.

Well, I think this is the best theme ever. The interface is much friendlier than the previous. And, the color combinations and effects are just perfect.

The forum is much more faster and there isn't a slight mistake with the borders and all. I like the new logo too. I love this. Please never ever change this one, Tim.
