I think the basic thought is a good idea, and I sense that you had at least some noble intentions, but there are two things that will kill it (one of which you can control and one of which you can't).
1) It's a Firefox-only plugin. If you want your tool to take off, make it for FF, IE, and maybe a few others like Safari and Opera.
2) Social media spammers will eventually abuse this tool or any clones of it and use it to submit all of their "sites", thus ruining the whole social media experience and killing it for all practical intents and purposes.
