Hello all,

I am German native freelance translator and offer translation of web content at reasonable prices and for many file formats. I work with Trados 2007 which is a translation tool that a) memorizes sentences that have already been translated (so no double work required --> faster and cheaper) and b) supports the translation of many file formats. So far, I can translate XML, HTML and SGML files. The formatting is not destroyed and there is no need to rearrange the texts after translation - this saves a lot of time and facilitates your work considerably.

I am no agency but a freelancer and could therefore offer more personal and better service at a better price. Your advantage is that your client does not have to search for a translator and that you don't have to reformat the entire website after the translation. I can either work directly with your client (also invoice him) or you act as an agent.

PS: I will also be able to translate DTP files in the near future (InDesign, QuarkXPress, Pagemaker, Ventura) but still need to develop more competencen in that area before I want to offer this as a service.
