Here is a software for Hosting Companies, Web Designers, Software Developers and many more. Those who deal with multiple server platforms and need to synchronize data, here it is.

NineSYNC is a data synchronization web service software. It can be used to synchronize source data (database or files) to a target data (another database or files). The good thing is, it can synchronize databases between different brands. My server has MySQL and my client's database is Oracle, but I develop using MySql and transfer the data to Oracle. NineSYNC is quite intelligent to identify what datatype mapping should have to be use. But you can override that and use a mapping of your own. File sync is another area, where you can sync individual files to independent directories.

NineSYNC can periodically synchronize source and a destination data. Download the demo from http://www.ninesync.com or http://www.jence.com and get the passord from the same site. You will like it.

For web hosting companies, this is a remarkable tool for backup of database and files over the internet. If you are web developer, then you must have to periodically upload the files you made changes to. Use NineSYNC for a nominal cost, it will do the job for you.

With my clients reaching coast to coast, I needed something like NineSYNC to help me. And its doing its job. Now I never have to worry about individually syncing files. Nor do I have to keep my PC on all the time. My software is left on my hosting server, and NineSYNC picks all my files from there.

In NineSYNC, all you do is connect to it with a free client, tell which source database and filesystem you would like to synchronize, and thats it. Set up the auto synchronization mode and forget about it. By doing this, I am always assured that the next morning my server is synchronized with all the other client's servers. You need fast internet connection to use it, though. And also NineSYNC is good for server to server synchronization. And if you frequently need to do so, NineSYNC is the NUMBER ONE sync product on the market.

NineSYNC is a Internet based data synchronization web service developed by Jence Incorproated (NineSTEP), a new concept in Global Data Synchronization.
