Designer Position Available

Weblog Design Studios is looking for an Expression Engine guru! We need someone who can control and manipulate Expression Engine by turning the default “blog” installation into a one-of-a-kind CMS work of art.

Minimum requirements:

Extensive knowledge of Expression Engine (custom fields, query, multiple weblogs) is a MUST
Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Fireworks, and/or Paint Shop Pro
(X)HTML, CSS, and W3C standards development (valid code until the client breaks it)
Strong written communication skills
Outstanding time management and prioritizing abilities
Portfolio or links to weblogs designed and coded by you, showcasing your skills, creativity, and flexibility

Desired skills:

Experience with other popular blogging platforms such as WordPress, MovableType, Blogger, BlogCharm, and BlogLegion.
PHP/MySQL programming skills
Vector illustration and manipulation
Have the “less is more” mentality

Location:

Work from home
US residents only

Fine Print:

We are looking for someone with web design/programming experience, not just a graphic designer. Portfolios (links to live, fully functional websites) are required. This position is offered strictly on a contractor basis and, as such, will be issued a 1099-MISC at the end of the year. Training and software will not be provided. Non-US Residents may be considered for the position if you are able to absolutely WOW us with your work (must obtain ITIN from US IRS).

Hello! Our company has people who are experts on WordPress, webmastering services, prgramming, graphics designing and others. But they are not US-based, they are offering their services as if you've hired an in-office personnel.

Why pay $2000 to hire an in-office pro when you can just lease from us?
