Coder/Programmer needed for university degree project - only have low budget
I'm seeking an up and coming coder/programmer to work on a BETA version of my website which is being produced as part of my final year research project for university. I already have the design and the layout of the site to help you see how it will function. As this is a college project I only have a small budget available but I do have every intention of making this into an actual business and as a result will require your services a great deal more in the future, should your work be satisfactory. I will also offer advertising space on the site for anyone with a website/service to promote. I do not mind how much experience you have had, as long as you think you are capable of meeting my requirements.
The website will offer users the ability to upload and/or view short videos on demand. The applications on the site will be very similar to those offered by www.youtube.com but will initially be much less complicated and on a much smaller scale. The functions will include:
-Video Upload
-Video directory
-Video chart
-Simple blog
-video rating/comments system
-personal user accounts (inc profile, my favourites)
I do not mind if you use pre exsisting code/scripts to help with this project.
I plan to stream the video content in .flv format and use the following web host http://www.flvhosting.com
I hope to have a version of the site running as soon as possible.
