Consumer Controlled Media is looking for an online media buyer and planner with previous online buying experience. You will be involved in all aspects of the buying and planning process including reporting and analysis. Experience running ROI driven performance-based campaigns a plus. Applicant must be self-motivated and detail oriented.
CCM owns and reps various web properties including:
CraveOnline, a leading lifestyle destination for young men featuring video, movies, TV, music, sports, games, cars, humor and more and includes Craveonline.com, ComingSoon.net, Sherdog.com and SuperHeroHype.com among others.
The TeenCrunch Network, an exciting new platform for brand marketers to create interactive media programs to reach teens online and includes DollWizard.com, Iconator.com, MP3Masher.com, and SheKnows.com among others.
The Online Media Buyer is an entry level position and will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
- Analyze and optimize media placements for maximum ROI, and report on their effectiveness and progress toward achieving goals
- Negotiate and purchase media from online vendors
- Develop and maintain solid working relationships with online vendors
- Assess the value of media sponsorships and strategic partnerships where appropriate
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
-Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
-Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Strong Microsoft Office experience particularly with Excel.
- General understanding of data management/metrics with proficiency in numbers and analysis.
- Knowledge of various pricing models such as CPM, CPC, CPA
- Experience utilizing Media Metrix
- Passion for the business and a desire to learn.
