Ummm....I haven't paid anything yet, and I'm not going to.

The deal's the deal. I'll review it for free and make a recommendation for or against the ebook based on my findings. It's up to him as to whether or not $1 means that much to him.

Why is this guy selling a "valuable resource" at this price? If there really WAS a white hat trick which could guarantee you a PR6, then it would be worth far more than $4!

These stupid SEO "SECRETS" are beginning to really get on my nerves. There is a constant stream of ""experts"" visiting the forum selling junk. Leave Webmaster-Talk alone - it didn't do anything to you!

I agree, these things are really starting to annoy me, as I am sure many will have seen my rants in other threads. Maybe I should write an ebook, spell out everything clear and simple and give it away, then perhaps these things will stop.

Why should we trust Digital Point. I've visited the site myself several times and although I'm not a member, the stories I've heard about it put me off it completely.

There is no secret tactic to getting a great pagerank, and if there is, Google will ban it soon enough anyway. Google wants to provide searchers with reliable and relevant sites so if it finds any methods of people corrupting it's database, it'll just ban them and fix the problem.

PageRank isn't even that important - traffic is the most important. I've got several sites with reasonable pageranks that don't get much traffic. Links should be about traffic, not pagerank

Sorry but we're just trying to prevent gullible people from buying some rubbish.

Can you give me any idea of what gives this PR6? E.g. illegal link building scheme, spamming, hacking into servers etc. Any info. on this would be appreciated

Exactly. I'm not afraid to spend $1 on something that's worth it. And if you have the reseller rights (as you appear to), you have the right to charge whatever you wish for the book (including $0), so don't start that crap.

Like whym said, all we want to do is ensure that people who don't know any better don't get sold a bill of goods. You haven't done a thing to reassure anyone that this is the case.
