Heya All

The Site Structure Handbook or Real SEO Guide (link is direct to PDF) is a short book dedicated to teaching people how to correctly structure their sites. This first version goes through headings and paragraphs, links, semantic tags, meta data and rounds off with a discussion about page rank and SEO.

I hope you enjoy.

Personal Note:

Well I finally did it, I got home this afternoon and knocked this up. Half is taken from my blog and the other half is some new information/extension.

I would be interested to know your opinions/ideas/criticisms of this book. don't expect absolute quality since I am giving it away for free

Hopefully it should be a nice change from the normal stuff we see around here.

Not bad for an afternoon's worth of work. Some minor typographical errors ("...in order TO semantically say...") but it's still better than any of the paid ones I've been sent for review.

Personally, I'd recommend most of you read this. This is actually written by someone with half a clue, and his "token" effort is a greater effort than what is put into most eBooks.

Good stuff, dude.

Thanks for the heads up on the mistakes, I have uploaded a new version which should have those fixed

Proof reading was never a strength of mine - you should have read my project report last year(It was 4am, I couldn't sleep so I wrote up my evaluation and had a friend proof read it the next day. I don't think it is possible to use the word "game" so many times in the same sentence).

Umm.. you still need a proof reader, you've still got multiple spelling and some grammatical errors

Nice job Jamie. I'd like to see you develop this into something bigger unless it's only meant to be one PDF among many.

By the way I noted that the link in your first post takes you directly to the PDF. I always like to know before I click. Hope you don't mind.

I don't know whether I may expand this into a larger book or make a series of little books yet/ I would like to know peoples opinions on which they would prefer

As for the link, no thats fine, should have really thought of that.
