A week ago, I took a walk through the Louvre in Paris, and was visually bombarded with masterpiece upon masterpiece of painstakingly crafted works of high art... thousands upon thousands of them, mostly from artists who, although historically significant, I had never heard of. And this is only one museum among the thousands upon thousands of museums on Earth, each filled with REALLY nice art.
I gained a sense of humility in the Louvre. Nothing I ever create will likely ever be as significant as the least of the works created by the great masters who came before me... and yet there are SO MANY real masterpieces that we don't even know them all.
Forgive me if I feel a mildly attractive, useless work of graphic design that was created in a matter of hours by "some guy" isn't so nice.
