I currently take product pictures using two neon lights and a 100W incandesant clamp light with the product lying on a white poster board. It seems to get ok results, but I am wondering if there is something I can do to make it look better. My wife has a DSLR, but I usually just use the 5MP cell phone camera, because at the size they are on my website, I really can't tell a difference.

The problem is the 5MP cell phone camera. These don't have the advanced sensors of a DSLR which leads to poor renditions of pictures.

Not even the best lighting will give you better pictures on a cell phone camera vs a DSLR.
