Does anyone know of a script out there that handles searchs by location? Say I typed 92697 into the search field, the search would then return all of the results within 20 miles of 92697, ideally it would also work for locations (like irvine, CA).

what you're looking for is called the haversine function. I used it here: http://www.maxbats.com/retailerlocator.php
