hi, i wanna move my site from one pc to another both windows. the site is currently on d:\www and wanna move it to the other pc which is c:\www when i do the move i get errrors when trying to open the front page. Its all php joomla and in the joomla.php there aint no path's so i take it its in the mySQL database. If it is so how do it do the whole move?

there should be a field in the config table about the httpRoot and document root ... just modify that for the new server

trying to import the mysql database this is the error i get

what are you using for import ?

im using phpmyadmin i goto export select sql and export then i import it the same way from the other pc.

Have you recreated the database as well?

recreated the database? i have a tick in the recreate box but still same errors.
