Hello.
I dont know if this is the right forum to do my post....

I want to add a search engine on my static site. I googled but i could not find a solution.
Does anyone have a script or sth to use as a search engine for my static site?
Thanks in advance!

I would use Google Custom Search Engine, if that's what you want. Try googling it.

hi there!
thanks for your answer.
i checked google search on your site and i liked it. but when i tried to do the same at the google website then the resulting search engine was different (they had added google gadgets) and there was no option to get rid of them.
How did you manage to customize your google search engine without the gadgets?
Thanks for your time.

Well, I used the part of the Google Custom Search Engine where you put both parts (PHP) of it onto your own pages, so it didn't go to a Google controlled page, but I didn't expressly say "no gadgets" or anything like that, so I guess just doing that might work.

Sorry I can't be of more help...
