Hi.


I wish to use adsense in a site that was made using php.
How easy is this to do as I have dreamweaver mx and the php code did not show up at all.

I would like help if possible

Are you refering to Google Adsense? Then there is no php involved, is't a simple copy-and-paste javascript.

If its a forum go to the site where the forum was made and you will probably find a little add on to install in to it and this will show all you adds

The easy way to do it is to create a file that contains the adsense code and then use php to to include that file where you want it to appear.

Yes it is Google adsense and I was told to put it in index.php and this did nothing apart from stopping the site main page opening and even with dreamweaver mx this did not pre-view anything at all.

So I was told that the os company that deals with the site making software does not support any support with adsense and I would need a programmer to ad the script !.

So apart from getting a error on the main page about a line number I have no idea at all how to get adsense on every site page.

I need help big time I have been told nothing that will help me put this........... on a php dating site.

Some general help. Then PM me your url if you want specific advice.

Use notepad! Copy the supplied Google JS to a blank page. Select save as *.* (all files and save the file as adsense.php or whatever you want to name it.

Then open your index.php file and copy the below to where you want it to appear:

<?php include("adsense.php"); ?>

Upload the new file and the adsense.php to your server.

Note: sometimes it is easier to do the include in the header or the footer. Also some scripts use template files for the html and you have to put it there. The header and the footer are usually different files than the index file.

One adsense.php file can be used on every page of a site once you find the proper place to place the code.

I tried it in index.php and got an error in the page.
Thats why I came on here and I was told to use https://www.scriptlance.com/programmers/more_info.shtml and get some one to do it.
But I only got people asking for $5 to $25 to do it and they did not sound very trusting.
As I know they would need to get in to the host and need the user name and password.
And they could sod it all for me..couldn't they?.

Check if you can create extra FTP accounts with your webhost.

If you can, create an FTP account for the programmer and then erase it when they are done.
