I need to know how do i place my adsense banner on the right of the page

next to upload files there is a nice room for an adsense banner/block.

I would assume you just copy and paste the javascript code google gives you.

Yes but they do not decide where it is going to show up in what place i mean.

If i copy /paste it then i get is under the text of above. not on the right of the text. is there a php code that i can copy/paste and then use the adsense code under that so if i save it that the only the adsense appear right from the text.
