I don't see why would this be a php problem, this is most likely a css/style problem because firefox and ie handle stuff differently (yes, ie is bad)

This is going to be a CSS issue, not a php issue. Php is just a server-side code. It doesn't have anything to do with how different browsers interpret a web page.

For sure is a css issue. Problems like this used to bite me in the rumproast so now before I publish a site. I test it with firefox, IE and IceWeasel.

Go to the HTML/CSS forums at your own peril - you code is way old - deprecated tags left, right and centre; with several tables for design purposes. Plus the CSS you have got is tied up in style attributes, which nobody likes.

IE is very bad. ie / is better, but continues with its "own standars". I use Opera, others Firefox, but unfortunnately, the rest of the world use IE
