Hi,

Has anyone came across this character in their php file before?

I cannot find this "" character anywhere in my document.

Is there anyway to edit the page without making that character appear on the php file?

I uses Microsoft Expression to edit the php files.

I have no idea what that is but why not just go with a basic editor like Notepad++ it doesnt add anything and is simple to use. I know thats not really answering your question but...

I don't know anything about Expression, but try saving the file in ANSI or UTF-8 without BOM.
BOM, or Byte Order Mark is what's causing these strange characters.
