Hi,
i am a begginer,
please help be in setting up username and password in my site, i have forum, wher when user enter his user & password it should transfer to direct forum page.

EX: www.xyz.com; when user enter his details to should login to www.xyz.com/forum with out asking him again the user details.

its phpbb2 but later i will change to phpbb3,

i also want help, i want to put single html file password protected, only visitor, with user name and password should enter it,

their any way to make an option to register in site automatically, with seeking my help

So you want a splash page that has a login box that allows the user to login to the forum, right? If that's what you mean then I can't help you. If you want people to be able to register for the forum without needing you to authenticate it then go into the board admin options and change the type it needs.
