Ok

I scripted my site while it was on a host that ran php 4 and it ran fantastic, no bugs at all.

put it on a host with php 5 and its got errors everywhere

Do you think i would be wise for me to learn php 5+ or run php 4 on the new host?

ok, sorry about that, i found the php i had installed was corrupted and i reinstalled it and my site works fine in php 5 woohoo!

I've never seen anyone have problems transitioning from php4 to 5 other than with OOP. The object model was the biggest change from php4 to 5 as far as I know.
