Hi,

How much should I quote for a clone of www.peachesuniforms.com ? It would be a php+mysql clone, no backend, but structurally arranged categories. I guess it will teake 3-4 weeks.

Thanks for suggestions!

Thanks,
Z.

You should quote your hourly rate x the number of hours it will take.

I find it easier to just break it down into categories, for what my client wants.

ie - graphic art(images that will be needed), front end, back-end. And give a rough estimate that way.

Example:

Images
  • Logo - 75$
  • Naviagtion Bar - 15$
  • Animations(gifs) - 50$
  • Flash - 100$
  • Full Template - 300$

Code
  • HTML(2x) pages = 50$
  • backend-php-only = 50$ per page.
  • backend-php-database = 250$.
But as a more direct response to your question...maybe 350$+. Depending on what you what exactly your client wants.

But I also like what CouponGuy said. I am currently working for a hourly rate, of about 20$ a hour. adds up quickly, so give it a shot.

lol. 3k, wow. I don't charge that much. Pushes the client away, if there not going with a 'buisness'. A standalone person, is a lot to throw 3k at. I wish you luck.

If you do go with it and get it. Congrats.

With no backend, I would guess somebody might hesitate to pay that price. If they do, give them our info too!
