Hello. Im at my wits end and ive been running round in circles trying to sort this for over a year now. I need some help. thanks

What i want to do is make something for Wordpress or vbulletin which would let my members keep some kind of betting record. They input their selections and then 'settle' the results themselves and it will work out profit/loss/yield etc and keep an ongoing record.

Would php be the way to do this?

Any help or points in the right direction would be mch appreciated. Also whilst im here i might as well mention having a tipping site as it wouldnt be that far removed from what im trying to do. It seems everyone is at it these days and i really cant suss out what they are using for it. I will gladly buy the software or pay for someone to make it up for me. an examle of the many is this one-

Thats what i was thinking CG thanks. IT's what do do from here on has been the real problem for me. I can't think of anyway forward. Ive posted lookig for freelance work on all the platforms that my website is on an has been on and by jove there has been a few lately
