Everyone, I made a post similar to this before and at some other places but I need to get this done and haven't a clue.

I downloaded the member login/reg. system from www.maaking.com. It is good, except that I need to add something to it so that members cannot see anything until I approve them. Currently, they register, get an email, and can login and see the protected stuff right away. If no one can give me some good help with that (I have basicaly no PHP knowledge), can someone recommend a PHP login member system that has the features I need for free.

Again, since this is really needed, all help is so greatly appreciated!

I suggest using a pre-written CMS like joomla.

I don't take too much for Joomla or Mambo or the like. My member area has a lot of iframes and stuff not articles, and I like how it is. Can someone recommend something else or help me with the code?

That system seems pretty good. What is it you want to do edit wise?

I myself also like the www.maaking.com system. What I need to edit is this: Currently, anyone can register, get the email, and then login and have access to the private areas. I need to be able to add something that would make sure I had to validate members before they received access to the restricted areas (ie., someone registers, then I have a screen and I can choose to validate the member or just to delete them instead of letting them be able to see the private areas)

Any help with this at all? I'm pretty desperate and very appreciative of ANY help. All my other requests received no responses, and I can't code PHP as mentioned. Anyone that can help me... I thank you a great deal!

Okay that sounds great too, I can message you some details (I haven't heard from dman, he may be busy) and the double post there was to bump my thread up, as it had fallen and I still needed some assistance.

Sorry to double here, but is there absolutely anyone that can give me a hand with this? Anything at all... If not, I'll try a different forums.
