Hello.

I am a newbie with php and I was wondering if soemone can help me out on a script. I need to create a script that will let me upload a directory from my pc to my web site and then chmod on the direcory and all files in the dir to 777.

here is the situatution I am in I am using a Photo gallery software and to do a batch add I need to put the dir in the album dir and change the mod to 777 and all files in the dir so I can add it. any and all help is appricated and thanks in advance for any help.

Have you tried rsync (assuming your using a unix type OS)
Also gftp is pretty cool for getting your permissions set. Just right click and go to properties.
Failing that ask your isp for ssh access and login and do it by hand.
