halo - I think the main reason that people don't seem to be going after your category management system is it doesn't provide any added value over existing systems. GNIFI basically looks like a watered down WordPress. Everything you can do in GNIFI, you can also do in WordPress and the development community behind that software is much bigger than just you...

If you want people to pay attention, you need to stand out in some way. What is the thing that your system does best? What can your system do that other CMS's can't? I don't have any idea why I would use GNIFI as opposed to WP or Drupal.

These are the questions you need to answer in order to get some attention.

Nah, it was just a side attempt, sometimes people try things even if they don't work...i will use it for my own site management, trying to make any php script to distribute nowadays is really a nonsense since everything was always invented and those things already have their own market fully occupied, like a lion that occupies his territory...

halo - I don't think everything has been invented. That's just not true! It's hard thinking of new things and definitely is not as easy as it was a few years ago to develop and sell PHP scripts. However, if you can sell your development expertise by showing off project like this, then they're well worth while.
