I want to send email with an attachment in php. I am able to send text email but unable to send email with attachment

Use PHPMailer. It's free (as in beer) and very easy to use. Attachments are a breeze with it.

It is often a good idea to look for a class file thats already been created, not only will it save you time creating your own but they are usually well tested by a good number of people first saving you time and money later with bug fixes.
