Sorry, the title isn't more descriptive - it's not an easy one to explain.

Ok, normally if you visit a webpage and you're half way down a page, you may click a link that will take you to another page. If you then press "Back" on your browser it will return you to the previous page, where you were viewing it.

Except on my site - bmtg.org.uk

It always seems to return you to the top of the page. I've tried turning off various features of the page to see if it's got anything to do with them but... nope, it's not.

I'm now stuck for ideas. Anyone able to help?

I don't have any problems with navigating using the back button in Safari (but I see the problem in FF). I have a feeling the problem might be that 'top' button you have floating along the side--have you tried removing that yet?

Yes - I thought of that straight away so removed it. It still failed to work.
