..For the Cotent box on my website, I'm using an include content line

PHP Code:
<? if($id) { include("content/$id.html"); } else { include("content/home.html"); } ?>
I've never seen this before and i've used this line many times, I can't see where it's coming from, This symbol of three letters are being displayed above the content when it shouldn't be there.

As in the suggested reference above, the symbols are probably within the included html files. Someone says that a MS editor sometimes generate those strange charactures without showing in the source code.

Find
Code:
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1252" />
replace with
Code:
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;charset=utf-8" />
Enjoy!

well, for whatever reason you have an extra <head></head> immediately after the BOM so I would be looking at where that came from for the answer.

Good Suggestion, I know where the Extra head tags coming from. It's the external content pages but it's not the problem, I've looked at a content page withou the Head tags and the BOM symbol is still there..
