I was hoping to get some advice on a good book that people have had some success with. I know a little C++ and HTML but not much else and was hoping to see what others had luck with.

I learnt from:

But it seems they have a more up to date version out ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/PHP-MySQL-Dy...7427392&sr=8-1 ).

I quite like the authors work, it's mainly a cook book which he explains what various bits and bobs do.

I used http://www.w3schools.com/php/default.asp to learn.

Yeah Ive checked out a few sites with good stuff but I prefer to learn from a book... not sure why I just prefer it.
