Greetings.
New to the forum and to web development. Anything on my site (oldwithoutmoney dot com) I put together by 'stealing' sample source & modifying it appropriately (or by using cPanel & fantastico to implement WordPress).
I'd like to create a simple file upload page, ideally utilizing FTP under the hood ('cause some files transmitted might be large). Throw the incoming file into /public_ftp/incoming/.
Any suggestions as to approaches (php? cgi? cPanel widget?), tutorials & sample pages most welcome.
If it matters, my site is hosted on a Linux box.
(Even if it doesn't matter, my site is hosted on a Linux box.)
I use cPanel to administer the site. My webDev experience is limited to novice html & css stuff, tho' I have some coding background.
If there are any 'built-ins' in cPanel that I can leverage, I'd appreciate knowing about them. Similarly, if anyone has a sample script that shows how to take advantage of users created in cPanel's FTP Manager, that'd be pretty ideal.
Thanks kindly.
- Richard
