Hi,

I am a designer and unfamiliar with PHP. I just created a forum phpBB. I am trying to locate the index page as if it was html but I have not being able to find it.

Is there a single page that has a layout of the entire page so that I can add HTML code?

Thank you!!

Hi master007

I think it would work the same as Joomla which has a database which it pulls the content from and then places it in the "Template", so have a look through the files folders and you should find template.

Heres a link I just found about it

http://www.phpbb.com/mods/documentat...late/index.php

That was the first thing i did but there is no such file.

Under template there aren't any html/htm files as the article suggests. Could it be one of the .tpl or .cfg? I opened them all and there is not master template.

Any ideas?

I'm not framiliar with phpBB but I am with Joomla so I don't want to advise you incorrectly, I just looked at the link I posted again and it does say that there should be html files, I think the best thing to do is go to the phpbb forum which is here

http://www.phpbb.com/community/?sid=...df3b0c131e41fc

and explain the problem, best of luck
