I have just added the support for FFMpeg,Mplayer & FLV2Tool at http://www.SuperCpanel.com and I need a list of other hosts who support these features.

These features are extremely important if you are trying to create something similar to youtube.

I am currently writing a youtube clone and thought that the PHP Gurus here can help me by sharing their experiences.

Regards,
Manu

Shared hostings will hardly offer you ffmpeg and others becuse they are not neccessary for 99,9% users.

Buy some dedicated server or VPS, the cheapest one would cost something like 20-30 USD/month and will allow you to install any software you want for development needs. Obviously you will later have to move to some more productive system or even use/invent some cluster technology.

I don't bother with shared hosting anymore, I rent dedicated servers and setup whatever I need
