I've looked and all I see is the embed and the link code.

You wouldn't need PHP to embed a video into a forum post, provided that the forum itself does not filter out the html, which by default most forums do.

I would think you should be able to do something like. Just figuring out how could be the difficult part.

So any ideas? Where is the code to do this? I want to see a youtube video posted in this thread. Autoplay preferred.... Here's my attempt

As I have said already, you CANNOT post youtube video on THIS forum since it does not allow embed and javascript tags.

PHP is server side code. Unless you can actually edit the forum's code php isn't going to be much help to you. Even then the most you could do is tell it to echo the code youtube provides you. As I said earlier, vBulletin and many other forums filter out html and javascript by default. This is a setting that can be changed, but only by an administrator.

Setup your own forum and post youtubes on it as much as you want
