Hi, I don't really know anything about PHP, but my latest design customer has asked me to put a contact form on their site. I used some code that I found online and followed the instructions how to modify it for my own needs.

The problem though, doesn't seem to be with the code - when I upload the code and test the form, I get:

Error 403 - Forbidden

You tried to access a document for which you don't have privileges.




I've tried calling my host to see if perhaps they don't support PHP but they say there shouldn't be a problem


Any ideas anyone?

Are the permissions set correctly?

• Make sure the PHP script and the directory it's in are world-executable.
• If the PHP script calls a page, that page's directory must be world-executable, and the page itself must be world-readable.

The file is most likely not CHMOD'ed correctly. Look at a files permission you can access and copy the numbers
