Im after something like freewebs so i can enable users to create and maintain their sites easily using wysiwyg and also allow for the possibility of providing easy to use free accounts, as a means to get noobies on paid hosting

Why not combine cPanel + WHM + A billing system?

It still requires some basic knowledge of web servers, and essentially, web developing. That's what i'm guessing.

I already do kind of combine cPanel, WHM and WHMCS (billing/client system)

Its just i want a n00b friendly wysiwyg service for clients to be able to build and update their website

I would prefer not to have to install a CMS etc on their account tho i would prefer to have like a script/system on my site so they could like login (pref with client area/cpanel password) and have access to some amazing system so they could like select templates edit create pages edit pages etc etc (exactly like freewebs) and then for it to save it as html/css/images in their account.

so when they edit it edits their files etc :s

would be very complex and probably beyond my skill level (to do it so its good) and i dont have time, or money to pay someone else, so would be good if i could get a free open source thing which i can mod up

Yea noob friendly! lol At the moment i dont even want to or have time or patients to try and get into developing control panels etc which work closly with the server in that way... one day i can be like other hosts and offer a crappy thrown together piece of... and call it a control panel... or i can just use cPanel i know which i prefer lol
