Recently we have added RSS feed to google webmasters.
Unfortunately, this feed is looking for a file which is not existing in our website. We create at least 100 pages a day and most of the errors are created by the RSS feed path.

In google webmaster the following pages are showing as 404 errors

http://www.dealshotdeals.com/hot-dea...57/rssfeed.xml

http://www.dealshotdeals.com/hot-deals/Barbie-2-in-1-Styling-Head/rssfeed.xml

They are supposted to be
http://www.dealshotdeals.com/hot-dea...hp/rssfeed.xml
http://www.dealshotdeals.com/hot-dea...hp/rssfeed.xml

http://www.dealshotdeals.com/hot-deals/Barbie-2-in-1-Styling-Head/index.php/rssfeed.xml

http://www.dealshotdeals.com/rssfeed.xml is the new page added.

Currently there are 2000 errors in google webmasters, with page not found 404.

Suddenly our SERPs are down and on some searches, we are not even appearing. For some search we are coming in the google first page,
now we are not even appearing.

I really appreciate your help in finding the root cause for this wrong path generation or google is looking for it. I am not sure, how the google looks for a page, which is not existing.
How to avoid this problem very quickly?

/index.php/rssfeed.xml would be an invalid URI. YOU need to correct however you rewrite your URLs

http://www.dealshotdeals.com/hot-deals/Barbie-2-in-1-Styling-Head/index.php/rssfeed.xml is available.

http://www.dealshotdeals.com/hot-deals/Barbie-2-in-1-Styling-Head/rssfeed.xml is not there and google is looking for this page.
this page is not there. Because of this 404 error is coming. And the count is getting increased.

I just want eliminate this.

Overall how google is looking for this, I am not able to understand.

The rss feed URL is being normalised CORRECTLY by Google, the problem is with YOUR site NOT Google.

Another challenge is I am not sure, how this page is getting created and why google is looking for pages

This is becoming puzzle for me. Why google crwal is looking at all for these pages. and throwing error.

it's no puzzle AT ALL if you LOOKED AT YOUR OWN SITE!!!!!!!

The rss feed is the ONLY one that is a RELATIVE link eg: href="rssfeed.xml" every other link on the page is ABSOLUTE
