I am trying to setup a form for an additional domain on Godaddy. I read that you can only have on domain use the gdiform. After trying to redirect the form mail from another domain hosted on the same account, I found out that it will not allow it. So how then do you set up another domain to receive form mail. Should I install another script in the cgi bin? The tech support said that I should just embed the script in the source for the page. I'm not sure that i heard him correctly. If anyone has any answers or other resources that it can refer to it would be greatly appreciated. I host all of my other account on host gator so I'm not familiar with this problem.

Thanks,

Kim

Hi Kim,

I'm interpreting your question two ways.

We do allow redirects with the gdform. This help article explains how to set this up using the CGI form-mailer. You will notice it is specified in step 4.

If you are actually looking to have a separate email for each domain these forms submit to, then you will need to use your own form mailer script.

I hope this clears things up!

Regards,

If you're working in the cgi-bin, then you're almost certainly not working with PHP. Creating a form to send you an email isn't too hard, actually, using PHP. I'm sure a quick search on a major search engine will provide the code for you and then, if stuck, you could ask for some assistance here.
