How did you even reached the 404 page ?
I tried several tools (like lynx) as well as a direct connection from my server(I'm after 2 chained proxies at home) but got no html.
Only a 301 redirect.

It looks like it means that your 404 custom error page is redirecting to a itself in an infinite loop.
It means too that there was a problem with wordpress saving the post, because it was not found in the public part of the site.

What can I do to fix it?

If I give you guys my 404 error page code can you fix it? It's in PHP and I don't really know PHP lol.

I wrote my own "source code scraper" and header reader long long ago And it's quite handy sometimes, to "pretend" to be something else

Though this one only needs WebBug to grab the source code.

AD7863, have you disabled ALL plugins?
Additionally, create a php file and put the following code in it.

I had problems with infinite redirects a while back on a server that stored an incorrect HTTP_HOST value in $_SERVER which made WordPress do an infinite redirection loop (because it always thought it was at the wrong domain).
What I had to do was add the following line in the config.php file.

remove_action('template_redirect', 'redirect_canonical');

You might give that a try and see if it works.

Hey I did try and delete the post and then repost it but it didnt work. Anyway I've fixed it now. It was a plugin I installed called redirection. Anyone else had a problem with this plugin before?

It works now... because I fixed it by disabling the redirection plugin lol.
