Hi guys,

I hope I'm not being too vague with this, you'll have to forgive me for limited knowledge.

I'm familiar with using Dreamweaver and the basics of PHP, and often use PHP includes in my layouts, but I'm designing a new website now and want to try and find a script that will allow my contributors to edit pages through their browser.

To explain further, I want to maintain the static layout of pages on the website, but to be able to display, in the middle area of the website (around the navigation and title bar etc.) - content.

So I'm looking for some kind of way I can find a script, with a WYSIWYG editor preferrably, that will allow contributors to log in and edit or add content - and save it, so it will appear in the 'content' area of the website.

I'm trying to avoid having to do all the updates to every single page in Dreamweaver and uploading them.

I've considered WordPress, but this would require me formatting the whole of the website with it, and I want to avoid doing that - as it's too time consuming and I'm not familiar enough with WordPress.

I've used CuteNews previously, but I want something that is more search engine friendly, and that isn't as limited in its Admin panel.

Can anyone think of any scripts or solutions that come to mind that may be useful for me?

Sorry if I've not explained too well! Hoping this will ring a few bells with people though...

Kind regards,

- Joe
