I'm Sorry if this question has ever been asked. But I am really confused about this.

All right, I want to create a website for sharing php. So, I want all the php code stored in the database and then display it to the browser, where the code is highlighted based on its syntax.

How to create that??? and i need the richtexteditor like in this forum.

Or if you have the tips about this and help me, it would be very appreciated.

you can see the example :

I think you know what i mean.

thanks

You are taking on something that I am in the very process of doing as well, The only difference is that you seem to want to limit your self to PHP only and that Fine. I am using GeSHi for my syntax highlighter. The benefit is that you can syntax highlight more than just php with it.

For more info on GeSHi Click Here

Do you plan on writing out this web site from scratch? Ie no framework like CakePHP,CodeIgniter for the MySQL, sessions and other little tid bits?

I will upload my work in progress, so far it has been done on a local testing server.

EDIT:: I got my live server working with my work in progress for this. You can check it out here -> http://test.jonweb.vlexo.net
