I have a site for a martial arts event. I would like each fighter to have a profile page that lists a little bit about them, their age, weight, height, fight record, maybe some pics and misc info.

Can anyone suggest what I should use for their profile page?

Something else I thought would be cool was if they had a blog somewhere, maybe I could use RSS to display it on their profile page?

I'm not sure the question. I am guessing that you want to set up a database, right? The database could be MySQL or anything else, and the code behind it can be PHP.

You could use a CMS package to easily build this together - Joomla for example.

Everything could be stored in some mysql databases.

You could create a `users` table to store the normal information such as: user, pass, height, weight ect.

And for things such as blogs you could create a `user_blogs` database, and have a field called `username` that would determine whos blog entry it was. Then on the profile page use some while loops to display each one.
