HI all, I made a stupid mistake that I can´t seem to fix:
I was working with my ftp client and by mistake overwrote my config.php with another file. the blog is an old one, up and running already, but noe since the config is there it doesn´t work. I backuped the rest of the files (in my ftp client it shows that all files are still on the server), so i should have the rest of the blog.
I made new settings in the config, but my settings and posts are gone, the only thing remaining are the plugins and the themes.
Anyone clever here to help out with this, please!!

Restore a backup from before you broke everything. You web host should be able to help you.

That depends on the host.

rarali, don't freak out. Your database is still intact.. So it's just a matter of connecting to it. As suggested, a backup is our best bet, but if it's from prior to current additonal posts/comments/content then you may lose that so I'd suggest backing up the existing files & database, then restore any previous backups.

If it's that big of a deal and your host isn't helping you much I'd be happy to help. Let me know, best of luck.
