a big dilema for me. Frameworks are very usefull these days and I just tried both from the title. any sugestions which one to chose?

Honestly, the functionality you get out of both is pretty similar, so it's just a personal preference thing. I personally like how codeigniter works a little better, but cakephp is very popular as well so just have a look at both and go with whatever one would suit your style better.

I'm sure this isn't the answer you were looking for, but really there isn't a huge difference between the two as far as functionality goes.
