I am not a programmer but had some trouble with my skype recently. My friends have been stealing my photo from skype. Is there a way to block this. They told me that they have been using API to do this?? I dont understand what that is.

Help needed urgent!!

I never used skype, but if it is internet based stealing a photo is a easy as right clicking it and saying save as.

You can't stop the stealing of **** near anything... Think about how much effort movie companies have put into DRM and, yet, the DRM's are defeated just hours after release.

Basic premise: If it can be seen or used in it's unaltered state, then it can be stolen.

i think your friends have learnt a new word (API) and decided you use it to intimidate you.

As the guys have said you dont need to have hacking skills to screen grab a photo
