Hello,

I thought I would ask my inquiries about customizing a few thing on my wordpress blog here, since the support forum for wordpress is flooded these days.

Ok, so, I have a blog setup through wordpress here:
http://malbertdesigns.hostzi.com/

What I would like to be able to do is:

1.) increase the size of the "older entries" in the bottom.

2.) get rid of some of the elements on the footer.

Can someone please help steer me in the right direction??

Thanks,
Mike

Look through your theme files (wp-content/themes/your-theme/). The footer content is most likely (but not necessarily) in a file called footer.php. You'll have to look around for the "older entries" link code.

Hey thanks for the reply. I've looked into the footer.php before, but I am a little bit confused because it only contains this lines of code:
EDIT: I've found there was a function.php where the footer info was located. I've now commented it out so that it looks correct.

Thanks a lot.

Now, does anyone have any ideas on how I can increase the font size to only the "older entries" in my blog?? I've tried to modify the css, but can't quite figure it out yet.

Did you mean "older entries" on the home page?

The css shows it is in a div with a class="pagination navigation clearfix"

So you could target that link with div.pagination a { }

Otherwise, to ad a specific class you'd have to edit a few pages like index.php, single.php, page.php, etc.

Many thanks. I really appreciate the guidance.

I've just created a new class and applied it on the homepage for the older entries.

Have a great weekend.
