I recently am getting into web design and all the different aspects of this. I recently came across some website clone scripts. I am just not sure how to load them on my server. The scripts had no instructions. I currently use Dreamweaver CS4 (if that helps any).

Some of the scripts should allow you to create a site like youtube, rapidshare, etc. There is about 20 different scripts.

The current server I use is from a free site called <removed>
If anyone can give me some input on what to do with these to create a site please let me know.

And if anyone wants I will share what I have.

Free webhosting does not usually allow for scripting or databases, and even if they did you would fall foul of usage policies especially running file stealing warez sites.

but usually you would FTP the scripts to the host then run a install routine.

The host you have needs to have PHP and possibly MySQL depending on the script.

Usually, there will be a config file in the script folder where you enter in your MySQL database information.

If not, you should be able to just upload the script files and type the directory in your web browser. Some scripts might have an install.php file you have to run first. Most scripts have instructions or .doc files somewhere in the folder
