Hello,

I'm working to create a sort of 'banner generator', where users can pick a background and type in their text, and the generator creates the text on the background, in the image.

I know this is easy in GD, but I was wondering if it is possible to create something like that without any external stuff?

I'd be fine with JS, too, and just a simple link to the function would work just as fine.

Can't be done as it needs some form of image creation/manipulation tools.

Aww, really? Oh well.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't GB library included in a standard php install? Even if it's not, why not install and use it anyway?
