As the title would suggest, I am seeking a php news publishing script.

I am developing a website that is going to publish many news articles daily, from the U.S. and around the world. I myself (and others) will be posting articles from other news sources (with link to original source in each article of course) which we find interesting and relevant to our target audience.

I've thought about using a CMS, although I really dislike the Joomla admin panel and publishing with it, and I have found that a lot of the newer CMS more or less have the same admin navigation which for some reason I could never convince myself I liked.

Looking for something a bit more flexible, something that after I set up could be modified to not look like all other CMS's or news publishing.

So lets see what you guys can come up with, I'm tired of going through Hotscripts doing demos, I'd like to hear what you guys have had experience with. Paid or free, whatever.

Joomla can be modified to not look like Joomla..
